Stephen Barber is a Director of The Greystones Press. He was brought up reading myths and fairy tales at home and Bible stories at school. He read English Literature at Trinity College, Cambridge, and then had a career in local government before moving to Oxfordshire where was Safeguarding Adviser to the Diocese of Oxford for a number of years. He was Treasurer of the Charles William Society and has published many articles on this writer. The Celian Moment is his first published book.
He lives with his wife and fellow Director, Mary Hoffman, in a converted barn in Oxfordshire. Their three daughters are all grown up and work in the Arts.
